Westcliff Trophy Competition
20 triples teams, two woods, and each play four matches of 12 ends.
Club Members beat the early rain storm, starting on time, just as the skies cleared. And, despite difficult conditions, our annual Westcliff Trophy two-wood triples competition was played to a successful finish, with just a couple of showers along the way. The trophies were presented by Mark Dyer, whose company have sponsored this event for several seasons, and he was warmly thanked for his continued support. John Main (Club Competition Secretary) was concerned that with the early heavy rain, the competition may have had to be curtailed, but was very pleased that we were able to complete the whole series of matches, in spite of the weather.
