On Tuesday 31st May, the “Cumbria Lads and Lassies” came to Ashcombe, and had an enjoyable match, played in warm spring sunshine. The result was a win for Ashcombe by 150 shots to 139, although the tourists won five of the eight rinks.

He sits on the end of the rink which is loosing most heavily, and tries to urge his team on.
