The Opening Day is a much-looked-forward-to event. After the long winter months, usually playing in-doors, is the promise of playing matches on a beautiful green, under sunny skies! This page provides a combined photo album of both days.
LADIES’ PRESIDENT OPENING DAY - Thursday 16th April
The weather was cloudy at first, but then brightened later. Afterwards there was a supper, with a speech from the president, Silvia Noyes.
Thanks to the Men who waited on us, and dressed for the occasion.
MEN’S PRESIDENT OPENING DAY - Saturday 11th April
The weather was sunny and pleasantly warm. Triples were played, and the ‘reds’ (Captain), narrowly won this friendly competition. Afterwards there was a supper, with a speech from the president, Brian Noyes. Thanks to the Ladies who prepared all the food.
